Cofsky Committee needs YOU!
Town seeking input

The committee’s primary goal is to produce a clear, actionable road map outlining realistic options for the property’s future use. This will include identifying appropriate uses, evaluating feasibility, and mapping out the steps needed to move from concept to implementation, including a preliminary understanding of costs and investment.
Key areas of focus will include reviewing existing site conditions, exploring potential uses such as agriculture, passive recreation, education, and habitat improvements, and assessing concepts like community gardens, walking trails, and low-impact amenities. The committee will also evaluate permitting considerations, maintenance needs, and phasing opportunities for both near-term and long-term improvements.
Community engagement will be central to the process, ensuring that a wide range of resident perspectives are heard and reflected. The committee will work in coordination with Town staff to align recommendations with local policies and operational realities.
The final product will be a comprehensive roadmap presented to the General Manager and Board of Selectmen, providing a practical framework to guide future decisions and stewardship of Cofsky Farm. If you are interested in serving on the Cofsky Farm Advisory Committee please submit your resume and letter of interest to managers@norwoodma.gov by June 12, 2026.
