I’ve been a resident of South Norwood for the past 11 years and have decided to get involved in the political scene.

These are just some of the issues we face and that I would work towards funding and solving:

I support strong public safety, and would strive to provide the tools and resources needed for the health and safety of our Firefighters and Police Officers.

I also support being fiscally responsible and would seek collaboration on Budget Policy.

I would work on increasing our commercial tax base as a means of increasing Economic Development.

I also would work with our Senior Citizens so no senior is left behind.

I will work everyday for all the residents of Norwood, making Norwood an even better place to live. I ask for your support and your vote for Selectman.

Neponset River Spring Cleanup Returns April 25th — Volunteers Needed Across 8 Communities

The Neponset River Watershed Association (NepRWA) and a coalition of regional partners are excited to announce the return of the Annual Neponset River Spring Cleanup on Saturday, April 25th, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Volunteers will gather at sites in Quincy, Dorchester, Hyde Park, Milton, Mattapan, Dedham, Canton, and Norwood to remove trash and debris from parks, greenways, and riverbanks.

The Norwood Police Department mourns the loss of retired Officer Terrence “Terry” Connolly, who passed away recently.

Officer Connolly dedicated more than three decades of service to the Town of Norwood, building a reputation for quiet professionalism, steady leadership, and a deep commitment to the community he called home. Having grown up in Norwood, Terry took great pride in serving the town that shaped his life. Over the course of his career, he developed lasting relationships throughout the community and within the department.
