290th Annual Meeting at First Congregational Church
Members celebrate rich history
The reports by Pastor Rev. Michele Bagby Allan and by each of the various Boards illustrate how well First Congregational Church is succeeding in serving its 270 members and the community.
The Church welcomed 8 new members during 2025. The Church continues to support many programs of community, national, and international involvement, including Annie’s Closet, Generic Ministry, New Life Furniture Bank, Cradles to Crayons, WCC Thrift Shop, Norwood Ecumenical Food Pantry, Christian World Service disaster relief, OneLocalBank Giving Tree, Martin Luther King Day of Service, and the Walk for Hunger.
First Congregational Church (United Church of Christ) is an Open & Affirming congregation welcoming all. We are located at the corner of Route 1A and Winter Street in Norwood. The regular Sunday morning worship service is at 10 AM. Worship services are conducted in person, live-streamed during the worship service, and posted to the FCC Norwood YouTube channel afterwards (https://www.youtube.com/@fccnorwood). Nursery care is available for infants and toddlers. Sunday School classes are held for children in grades Pre-K through 8 mid-September through mid-June. Our Pastor, Rev. Michele Bagby Allan, is glad to extend pastoral support. For more information, please visit the church web site (https://www.fccnorwood.org) or call the church office at (781)762-3320.
