State of the Neponset River Water Quality
Join NepRWA River Restoration Director Sean McCanty and Environmental Science Fellow Meher Khanna on Tuesday, March 10 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. to explore water quality conditions in the Neponset River, including recent data and long-term trends for the River, its streams, and ponds. The evening will also feature a guest talk by Ryan O’Donnell, an environmental scientist, who will share practical approaches for communicating water quality information to the public.
This will be a special hybrid event with options for in-person attendance in the Simoni Room of the Morrill Memorial Library, or virtual attendance via NepRWA. Norwood launching Community Health Assessment
Norwood Health Director, Stacey Lane, announces that the Norwood Health Department and Norfolk County 8 Public Health Coalition (NC-8) has recently launched a Community Health Assessment (CHA) of the current and emerging health needs across Norwood and neighboring communities. The CHA is a collaborative effort among the towns of Canton, Dedham, Norwood, Walpole, and Westwood.
