Jennifer M., age 44, of Fall River and formerly of Norwood, passed away on the evening of Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, surrounded by the love, comfort, and care of her devoted family.

Born in Boston, Jennifer was the only child of Timothy Armour and the late Jane M. (Fuller) Armour. She was raised in Norwood and graduated with honors from Norwood High School with the Class of 1999. Jennifer continued her education at the University of South Florida, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Social Work. A few years later, she proudly walked across the commencement stage at Columbia University after completing the requirements for a Master of Social Work degree. Soon afterward, Jennifer became a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

A woman of exceptional kindness and compassion, Jennifer dedicated her professional life to helping others. She began her career with her family’s business, YCN Transportation in Norwood, where she served as Human Resources Manager. She later worked at Advocates in Framingham, devoting herself to supporting older adults. For the past ten years, Jennifer was employed with Saint Vincent Services of Fall River, where she had the privilege of assisting children and adolescents facing mental health challenges.

Outside of her professional life, Jennifer enjoyed a wide variety of hobbies and interests. She was an avid golfer and a longtime member of Walpole Country Club. She loved visiting the Mount Washington Hotel every August and playing golf with her entire family. Jennifer had a distinctive sense of fashion and held a special place in her heart for animals of all kinds. She was a devoted visitor to Disney World and had lost count of how many times she had been there – it was simply too many to remember. Jennifer and Jason were also recent members of Fall River Elks Lodge #118. Above all, Jennifer cherished the time she spent with family and friends and treasured the memories they made together, especially during the holiday season. Christmas, St. Patrick’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Halloween were among her favorite holidays.

Jennifer is survived by her father, Timothy Armour, and stepmother, Kathleen Armour; her significant other, Jason Douglass; her stepsisters, Jacquelyn Higgins, Laura Abely, and Amy Copponi; her aunts, Eleanor Armour, Peggy Armour, Beverly Armour, Kathleen Pender, and Joan Brady; her uncle, Richard Armour; her nephews, Joseph Abely, Justin Abely, and Jack Copponi; her beloved fur baby, Eeyore; as well as numerous cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

In addition to her mother, Jennifer was predeceased by her uncle, Robert “Bob” Armour, and her aunt, Carol Schultz, and Carol’s husband, Jan Schultz.

Jennifer’s caring spirit, generous heart, and unwavering dedication to helping others will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. in the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington Street, Norwood.

Jennifer’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 547 Washington Street, Norwood.

Jennifer will be laid to rest in Highland Cemetery in Norwood.
