Norwood Evening Garden Club Donates $150 to Morrill Memorial Library
The Norwood Evening Garden Club recently presented a $150 donation to the Morrill Memorial Library in support of its collection development. The donation, which the club makes every other year, will be used to purchase books focused on gardening, sustainability, and environmental concerns for both adult and children’s readers.

“The Norwood Evening Garden Club is pleased to continue its tradition of supporting the Morrill Memorial Library,” said the co-chairs. “We hope these materials will inspire readers of all ages to learn more about gardening and environmental sustainability.”
The Morrill Memorial Library expressed its appreciation for the continued support. “We are so grateful for the ongoing support from the Norwood Evening Garden Club” enthused Library Director Clayton Cheever. “We look forward to the annual Art in Bloom program they will be bringing back to the library in a couple of months. This partnership pairs so nicely with our seed library, and pollinator and herb gardens. Donations such as this help enhance educational opportunities and strengthen community engagement, improving the quality of life in Norwood.”
