Drive Safe Demonstration at Norwood High School
SRO Rooney and the Norwood Police Department were proud to support a hands-on crash prevention training demonstration at Norwood High School in partnership with Norfolk County District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey and In Control Crash Prevention.

Motor vehicle crashes remain the leading cause of death among young drivers, making prevention and education efforts like this essential. Thanks to District Attorney Morrissey’s support, this training is being funded for 19 high schools across Norfolk County, helping keep students and our roadways safer. Thank you to DA Morrissey, In Control Crash Prevention, and Norwood High School for their continued commitment to youth safety and strong community partnerships.
