Brian P. Rose, a longtime resident of Norwood, passed away on the morning of March 16, 2026, at Maplewood Rehab and Nursing Home in Amesbury. He was the devoted partner for many years to Patricia McGowan of Walpole.

Born in Boston, Brian was one of four children born to the late Robert R. and Agnes G. (McKenna) Rose. He was raised and grew up in Norwood. Brian attended Blue Hills Regional Technical School, where he studied and received hands on training in autobody repair, excelling in the trade.

A hardworking man with a great work ethic, Brian was the owner of his own body shop. Having a meticulous eye for detail and always treating his customers fairly, Brian owned WUAP Autobody on Main Street in Walpole, where he gained the reputation for providing wonderful service to his clients.

Outside of work and in his spare time, Brian enjoyed taking trips to his home in Biddeford, Maine. He was a fan of horse racing and NASCAR, and he liked to go fishing. Above all, he was most happy when he was in the presence of and making memories with his devoted family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his partner, Brian is survived by his proud son: Jason Rose and his wife Cristina of Walpole; his two grandchildren: Ava Azevedo and Andrew Rose of Walpole; his siblings: Stephen Rose of Norfolk and Ellen Donahue and her husband Gregory of Medway; his sister-in-law: Ellie Rose of Norfolk; and also numerous nieces and extended family members.

In addition to his parents, Brian is preceded in passing by his brother: Robert Rose, Jr.

Visitation and funeral services provided by Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington St., Norwood, MA. Brian will be laid to rest privately.
