GIAMMARCO

Anthony Giammarco of Norwood, passed away at his home on Saturday, July 11, 2026. He was 61.

Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Pasqualino and Leonina (DiCenso) Giammarco.

Anthony was the husband of Maureen (Walsh) Giammarco of Norwood, and the loving father of Lisa and her husband Greg Cleary of Franklin, Maria and her partner Billy McCarthy of Norwood, and Nicole and her husband Jarod Hendrickson of Franklin. He was the brother of Diana Petruzzelli of Norwood and her late husband Rudy, Donna Tolland of Millis, Mary Jean and her husband Steve Foss of Dedham, Sandra Giammarco of Quincy, and the late Ronnie Giammarco. Anthony was the proud Papa of Jack, Nick, Annie, William, and Lily. He was the brother in-law of Linda and Raymond Dart of Attleboro and Joseph and Pam Walsh of Hyde Park. He was the fun loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Anthony’s greatest joy in life was being the best dad to his three girlies prior to becoming a proud papa – his most purposeful role. Nothing made him happier than going to sports games, band concerts, and any activities his grandchildren were involved in. He always shared his humor with his family and friends, and those who know him best will remember his contagious laughter, jokes and impressions.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rte. 1A), Norwood (TODAY) on Thursday July 16, 2026 from 3-7 p.m., and again on Friday July 17, beginning at 10 a.m., prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 547 Washington Street Norwood, at 11 a.m.
