Norwood Parents Music Association hosts the 2026 MICCA Southeast

The festival will feature spectacular performances from several high school marching bands from the region, offering an afternoon of thrilling music, dazzling choreography, and vibrant color guard routines.

Featured Performances

This year's MICCA Southeast Festival welcomes an impressive lineup of visiting ensembles, including: Auburn, Somersett Berkley, David Prouty, Norwood, Oliver Ames, Milton, Gardner North Attleboro, and Stoughton

The host, the Norwood Mustang Marching Band and Color Guard, will perform their highly anticipated 2026 show, “Beyond the Emerald City,” at approximately 3:00 PM. The Marching Band and Color Guard return home, fresh off their recent 4 stars score at the MICCA Central Competition on Saturday evening in Auburn.

Special Guest Appearances

In addition to the competitive high school performances, attendees will be treated to special exhibition performances by an outstanding musical groups:

The Norwood Madrigals

The University of Massachusetts Lowell Marching Band

These guest performances promise to add an extra layer of excitement and musical excellence to the afternoon.

Tickets and Concessions

This is a rain-or-shine event, and the public is encouraged to attend and support these dedicated student musicians.

Admission: $8 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.

Concessions: Spectators can enjoy a variety of seasonal treats and warm food available for purchase, including seasonal favorites like chili and apple crisp, along with pizza, hot dogs, hot cocoa, and coffee, as well as snacks and drinks. Parking: Parking will be limited as we expect up to 1,000 visitors. Please carpool, walk, or get dropped off if you can.

"This festival is a celebration of their incredible efforts, and none of it would be possible without the tireless dedication and unwavering support of the Norwood Parents Music Association. We look forward to an amazing afternoon of music."
