The Town of Norwood announced this week that Washington Street near Hawes Brook will be closed until July 18. From the Town: Traffic Advisory: Washington Street Bridge Rehabilitation. Washington Street at Hawes Brook will be closed to through traffic 7/13/26 - 7/17/26. Please use the posted detour route shown on the map and allow extra travel time when traveling through the area (Detour via Short/Morse/ Pleasant/Dean). We appreciate your patience as these improvements are completed safely.
