Rogers and Rush get Hospital TF funds

State Rep. John Rogers and State Sen. Michael Rush announced last week they obtained $50,000 in the state budget for the Norwood Hospital Task Force to conduct an economic impact study to note the impacts of the loss of Norwood Hospital. The hospital was previously estimated to generate around $2 billion a year in economic activity in the region. “We were thrilled to be joined by Neponset River Regional Chamber President and CEO Tom O’Rourke to present the check, as this investment supports the community and aligns with the Chamber’s mission to strengthen and uplift the region,” Rogers wrote
