BERNARDI

Joseph G. Jr. of Walpole passed away on February 21, 2026 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of AnnMarie (Guido) Bernardi. Devoted father of Joseph G. Bernardi III and his wife Lynne (DiFlaminies) of Walpole and Tina (Bernardi) Parsons and her late husband Donald of Walpole. Son of the late Joseph G. Bernardi Sr. and Nora (Tabarani) Bernardi. Brother of the late Josephine Cook. Cherished grandfather of 3 grandchildren, Joseph IV, Jacci (Bernardi) & her husband Brandon DeLano and Nicci (Parsons) and her husband Dan Scimone and 4 great grandchildren, Joseph V, Dominic, Danny & Siena.

He was a proud Navy veteran of the Korean War. He co-owned and operated the family restaurant, Venice Cafe in Norwood, with his wife and her brother. The restaurant became a cherished gathering place for generations of families. He later continued his passion for hospitality by building Bernardi's Banquet Hall alongside his wife and children, creating lasting memories for countless celebrations.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday March 21, 2026 from 8-9:30 a.m. at the Kraw Kornack Funeral Home 1248 Washington St. Norwood. A funeral mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Norwood, MA. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Norwood.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation 2361 Hylan Blvd.
