SHEEHAN

Sgt. Paul G. Sheehan, age 40, a longtime resident of Norwood, passed away on the morning of Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Northampton VA Medical Center.

Born on November 24, 1985, in Norwood, Paul was the youngest of three children of Paul H. and Diane M. (Giblin) Sheehan of Norwood. He was raised in Norwood and graduated from Norwood High School with the Class of 2004.

A proud and patriotic man, Paul honorably served his country in the United States Army from 2006 to 2010. He served as an Infantryman with the 82nd Airborne Division, where he demonstrated courage and commitment to his fellow soldiers. During his service, Paul completed two combat tours in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

In his spare time, Paul enjoyed fishing, playing hockey, and listening to music. He will be remembered for his strength, loyalty, and deep love for his family and country.

In addition to his parents, Paul is survived by his beloved siblings: Erin Henry and her husband, Dan, of Foxboro; and Michael Sheehan and his wife, Melissa, of East Walpole. He was the proud and loving uncle of Olivia, Jack, Nora, Dominic, and Henry. He is also survived by many cousins, extended family members, and fellow servicemen and women.

Visiting hours will be held on THURSDAY, JUNE 11, from 4:00pm-7:00pm in the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington Street, Norwood.

Paul’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on FRIDAY, JUNE 12, 2026, at 11:00am in St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 547 Washington Street, Norwood. Please go directly to church.

Paul will be laid to rest privately in Highland Cemetery in Norwood.
